About Us
We are a global competition provider for luxury watches and goods. Please see the “About Us” section to learn more about the team behind LuxLot. We are UK (London) based and are a UK registered Company at Companies House.
We are passionate about watches and luxury items and want to share that passion and the pleasure of ownership with you! Our aim is to create a community of like-minded people who are as passionate as we are!
How does it work?
Select the number of tickets you would like to buy (these are limited to a maximum of 50 tickets per draw per person). Once you have selected your number of tickets; play the knowledge-based Quiz and then enter your payment details and check out using our secure payment checkout.
If you have answered the quiz correctly, you will be entered into the competition. Confirmation of entry will be sent to you via email. If you win a competition; you are prohibited to take part in the next three competitions (this allows fairness in terms of prize distribution and winning opportunities). This does not apply to runner-up prizes.
We pride ourselves on fairness and transparency and this is the core of Luxlot. We use a secure certified third-party system “Random Draws” (www.randomdraws.co.uk) to select the winner. This draw takes place live through our Instagram TV account or other live media outlets whereby we show the selection of the winning ticket.
The live event is open for you to join! It goes without saying that the team at Luxlot are prohibited from entering any of the competitions.
We announce the draws within 24 hours of the tickets being sold and the draws take no longer than 3 working days from the draw being sold out. The draws will be announced through our website and our other media outlets such as Instagram / Facebook etc. The draws will be “live” and you will be able to join the live draw.
Each Competition will run for a specified period which will be stated on the specific Competition. Please see each Competition for details of start and end times and dates (‘Promotion Period(s)’).
Once 60% of the Competition tickets are sold; the Promoter will be obliged to hold the Competition specifying the date of the Competition draw. If 60% of the Competition tickets have not been sold or the Competition cannot be held; tickets will be refunded in full to the entrants.
Entrants can be outside of the UK, as long as their respective country of residence allows for entry into such Competitions. Currently, residents in the USA are not eligible to enter into our Competitions. The eligible countries to enter our competitions are: Austria, Hungary, Romania, Belgium, Iceland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Ireland, Slovenia, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Liechtenstein, The Netherlands, Estonia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, France, Luxembourg, Finland, Norway, Germany, Poland, Greece, Portugal, Gibraltar, Isle of Man and Croatia.
Winning & Prizes
The “Odds” for winning change per each competition and is dependent upon the number of tickets released for that particular competition and the number of tickets you buy. We announce the number of tickets to be sold on the announcement of the competition and keep contestants and prospective contestants updated throughout each draw. We aim to be highly competitive when it comes to the “Odds” of winning compared to other such competitions.
We will deliver your prize anywhere in the world, where possible, free of charge. Any applicable UK VAT is already paid by us and any carriage is also insured by us. However, there may be further import/registration, luxury duties or personal tax implications in certain countries which is in our discretion to pay or not. In this situation, the winner may be liable for these costs.
We provide the authenticity papers and the watches are checked thoroughly to ensure that they are genuine.
All documentation that watchmakers provide, will be sent with the watch prizes to authenticate them.
Yes, when the winner is notified, they will also be offered a cash alternative to the prize should they wish to choose this option. Such an alternative would typically be the RRP of the prize offered.
We will from time-to-time offer runner-up prizes or mid competition prizes. Such prizes will be announced through our website or other media outlets.
Charity
We donate 5% of our profits to selected charities. Part of Luxlot’s vision is to share information relating to these charities and their invaluable work with you.
We also support local communities and sports clubs as well as up and coming athletes (by way of sponsorship). Such information will be shared through our media outlets.
We aim to remain in touch with winners of competitions and share their winning stories with you. As part of the LuxLot Winners Club; winners will be offered special promotions from time to time which will be announced through our media outlets.
